John Dean

John is the principal of John Dean Law Office. He is a member of the New Zealand Law Society, and its Wellington Bracnch, International Bar Association and Wellington Regional Chamber of Commerce. He is interested in all sports, and particpates in cricket, golf, fishing and tennis. John also has an active interest in the Arts, especially theatre and music. He has served as Chairman of Wellington Regional Orchestra and President of Wellington Repertory Theatre (life member).

John is also an active Rotarian. His involvement in Rotary has been varied and busy, including Past President of Wellington Harbour City Rotary, Paul Harris Fellow, club services director, HCR Weekly Editor; and more recently treasurer and webmaster. He lead a Group Study Exchange team to Lancashire and the Lake District. He is also currently secretary of the New Zealand International Fellowship of Cricket Loving Rotarians.

Rachael Barton FNZILE

Rachael Barton has been with John Dean Law Office since its inception in 1979. Rachael is the Practice Manager for the firm. She also undertakes a wide range of legal work including conveyancing, estate administration work and commercial work. Rachael is a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Legal Executives.

Rachael is also a Paul Harris Fellow and an Honorary Member of Harbour City Rotary Club.

 

 
Rachael Barton

Dahl Calder

Dahl studied law at Victoria University of Wellington and was admitted to the bar in September 2006. Dahl has been a solicitor at John Dean Law Office since September 2006, and practises in all areas of the law, with an emphasis on Family Law and litigation matters.


Dahl worked for some years with Land Information New Zealand, and has expertise in Land Transfer Act matters and electronic registration of LINZ documents.  He is also a qualified chef.


Dahl is interested in all outdoor activities, especially sailing. He is a member of the Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club. Dahl also has a passion for food and wine and enjoys dining out.

 

 

Trina Williams

Trina was admitted to the bar in late 2010 after completing a double degree in Law (LLB) and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Criminology and Religious Studies. Trina’s interests include travel, movies and spending time with friends.
